dussehra is started celebrated before 18 days of diwali when the Lord Shri Ram slaughter the Monster King Ravana. This day was the 10th day of shukla paksh of ashvin month of Hindi calendar. That’s why in all over India it is trend to kindling the effigy of the Ravan, his Son Meghnad, and his brother Kumbhakaran on this day. After 18 day Diwali is celebrated when Shri Ram come back to Ayodhya with his wife Seeta and brother Lakshman after spending 14 years in the forest.
This day is celebrated with gladness and glee. This day is the 10th day of Shardeeya Navratre of maa Durga. Every wish come true if one worship maa Durga on this day.
